Phase 1 of the FLOKI DAO upgrade

Phase 1 of the DAO upgrade will begin Saturday morning UTC (22/01/2022) and is expected to complete within 48 hours barring unforeseen circumstances.

Why the Floki Inu Contract Upgrade?

Let's put it very simply:

While FLOKI has had exceptional growth over the past few weeks thanks to such an amazing community, upgrading our ETH contract will help us grow exponentially faster.

The current ETH contract has certain limitations:

There is a 10% transfer tax. This shouldn't be.
We get zero marketing funds from ETH despite it accounting for the MAJORITY (3–5x more) of our volume.
While tokens that should be burnt accrue directly into the FLOKI ETH contract, and serve as a burn, this is practically a disaster waiting to happen. It is much better to have an actual 0000dead burn wallet.

The upgrade fixes all of this by:

Removing transfer tax.
Ensuring there is an actual burn wallet.
Ensuring we get REAL marketing tax to ensure some REAL GROWTH (not the kind of "slow" growth we've had).

For perspective, we have about $450,000 which has accrued to our BSC multisig marketing wallet.

In order to achieve our milestones, we need to accrue more!

Without having to leak anything, we were planning to launch a MAJOR PROJECT for FLOKI that would have been the biggest, hottest project by ANY token in our field… but after doing the cost analysis we had to put it on hold because we didn't have enough money.

This wouldn't have been the case if we were getting taxes on ETH.

Think about it this way:

To really achieve our goal of hitting $5 billion, $10 billion, we need to run full steam.

It wouldn't be cost effective to simply ignore/turn off a source that could give us 4–5x more marketing funds which will allow us to do this, especially when the solution is an easy one.

What of the Floki Inu DAO Upgrade?

You don't have to do ANYTHING to be a part of phase 1 of the DAO upgrade.

It is going to be a completely seamless process.
