Bitfinex suspends lending services on Celsius following its announcement on withdrawals, swaps and transfers

Celsius Network has announced (13/06/22) that it has paused withdrawals, swaps and transfers between Celsius accounts.

As Celsius is a part of the Bitfinex third-party suite of lending options, Bitfinex has since suspended Celsius services until further notice. Users will no longer be able to use their crypto holdings to earn interest using Celsius at this current time. Users who currently lend digital tokens on Celsius will be subject to Celsius notification for when they will be able to withdraw their funds.

Users will be able to earn interest on their tokens through our other lending and staking services.

We await further announcements and updates from Celsius and remain on standby to provide all the assistance and support that we can.

All other Bitfinex products and services are operating as usual and are not affected by the decision by Celsius to pause withdrawals.
