Bitfinex closes margin trading and funding for Bitcoin SV (BSV)

In line with our commitment to deliver the best trading experience, we are closing the margin trading and funding functionalities for Bitcoin SV (BSV).

This decision has been made as a result of our continued monitoring of all listed products.

From 28/11/2022 at 03:00 PM UTC, customers can only reduce their margin positions in BSV/USD and BSV/BTC, and reduce their funding; the possibility of adding new funding orders will be disabled.

Bitfinex will disable margin trading on the BSV/USD and BSV/BTC pairs as well as BSV funding on 12/12/2022 at 03:00 PM UTC.

All remaining margin and funding orders will be cancelled, and we will force settle all open margin and funding positions on 12/12/2022. 

Deposits, withdrawals and spot trading for BSV will remain available to customers.
