OKX will adjust the option contract multiplier

To improve market liquidity and optimize customer trading experience, OKX will adjust the contract multiplier from 8:00 to 9:00 (UTC) on May 26, 2022. The detailed adjustment rules are as follows:

After this adjustment:

The number of current orders, historical orders (including Limit Order and Strategy Order) and positions will change accordingly based on the change of the contract multiplier. Before and after the change, the value of the trading currency unit remains unchanged for all positions and orders. That is, for a position valued 1 BTC (10 x 0.1), the adjusted position value is still 1 BTC (100 x 0.01).

Example 1: Suppose 30 positions on btcusd-0627-30000c options. When the multiplier of BTCUSD option contract is adjusted from 0.1 to 0.01, the position size will become 300.

Example 2: Suppose 10 pending orders on - ethusd-0627-3000c options. When the multiplier of ETHUSD option contract is adjusted from 1 to 0.1, the pending order number will become 100.
