About Verse DEX

Verse is a full-featured decentralized exchange. It is a key component of the Bitcoin.com/Verse ecosystem, providing anyone in the world with a secure way to permissionlessly swap cryptocurrencies without having to rely on third-party custodians.

The Verse DEX is a derivative work of UniswapV2. Liquidity providers to the Verse DEX will earn fees based on the trading volume of assets in their pools. A portion of trading volume across all pools will be used to purchase VERSE on the open market and burn it. Liquidity providers who stake their liquidity tokens will earn additional rewards (which are drawn from the Ecosystem Incentives and Rewards pool).

The Verse DEX was initially launched on smartBCH and will be expanded across a variety of blockchain ecosystems with a preference towards low-fee EVM-compatible blockchains. The Verse DEX will be available directly from the Bitcoin.com App. 

What are Verse Farms?

Verse Farms are a collection of smart contracts on Bitcoin.com's decentralized exchange Verse DEX where Liquidity Providers (LPs) can deposit LP tokens to earn rewards. Farm rewards are paid on top of the trading fees you already earn by providing liquidity.

Why should I deposit my LP tokens with Verse Farms?

When you deposit tokens in Verse Pools as a liquidity provider, you will receive LP tokens as a representation of your share of the pool. Instead of simply leaving these LP tokens in your wallet, you can deposit them into Verse Farms to earn additional rewards, on top of trading fees that you are already earning as an LP.

The Founder of Verse DEX is Bitcoin.com, creator of the self-custodial Bitcoin.com Wallet. The Verse DEX, which will work seamlessly with the Bitcoin.com Wallet, acts as a gateway to DeFi for Bitcoin.com's millions of users.
