Gate Charity Volunteers Visit Animal Welfare Center in Taiwan

Gate Charity, the global non-profit philanthropic organization of Gate Group, is launching another charitable initiative in Taiwan, this time to help rescued and abandoned rabbits. The initiative will be followed with an additional fundraiser through NFT sales.

For the initiative, Gate Charity is working with the Taiwan Rabbit Association, a non-governmental organization that rescues and rehomes animals that have been neglected, abandoned, or require special care. The association also educates the public on animal welfare and encourages proper policies for protecting animals. Combined with their rescue efforts, the association takes a broad approach to ensuring that at-risk animals can find a suitable home and receive adequate care.

An in-person two-day event will be organized with Abal Marketing at the Kaohsiung Rabbit House in Kaohsiung City. On March 22, the Gate Charity team volunteered at the shelter to help care for the animals. Gate Charity is also partnering with Gate NFT, the NFT marketplace of the crypto exchange Gate.io, to launch and sell the rabbit-themed charity NFT collection. All proceeds from the collection will go directly toward supporting the Taiwan Rabbit Association and animal welfare in the country.

This initiative marks Gate Charity's first animal welfare event and another blockchain-powered philanthropic fundraiser in Taiwan. Recently, Gate Charity released an NFT collection that features artwork drawn by children from the Red Cross welfare center in Kaohsiung City, raising thousands of dollars for the center through NFT sales.
