On February 5th, 2022, The Sandbox announced a strategic partnership with Knights of Degen. The Knights of Degen have acquired an ESTATE that will be featured during the Web3 LAND sale. The Knights of Degen is a project that is developing a sports and entertainment empire in web3. With this partnership, the Knights of Degen are expanding their metaverse empire and will be building what they refer to as the Sandbox Kingdom on their ESTATE.

This development will be split into three core points:

• Degen Arena: P2E gaming arena
  Knights of Degen characters will be able to compete in a variety of competitive games and tournaments for prizes.
  
• Degen Tavern: The Sandbox sports bar
  A social environment where events will be hosted and through which multiple activities will be organised. We will also see the introduction of unique partnerships to bring our communities together in The Sandbox metaverse.
  
• Knights Quarters: Living space for Knights
  Knights need a place to rest after long days of competing and earning. The Knights plan to build living quarters with residences available for knight holders.
