Updates on Leverage, Margin Tiers, Funding Rate Settlement Frequency and Capped Funding Rate Multiplier of USDⓈ-M BNXUSDT Perpetual Contracts (2022-12-04)

Fellow Binancians,

Binance Futures will make further adjustments to the leverage and margin tiers of the USDⓈ-M BNXUSDT Perpetual Contracts on 2022-12-04 at 11:30 (UTC).

In addition, Binance Futures will increase the funding rate settlement frequency and capped funding rate multiplier of USDⓈ-M BNXUSDT Perpetual Contracts starting from 2022-12-04 at 12:00 (UTC). More details can be found in the tables below.

Existing positions opened before the updates will be affected. It is strongly advised to adjust the position and leverage prior to the adjustment in order to avoid any potential liquidation.

Notes:

Please note that there may be further adjustments to the funding rate settlement frequency of the aforementioned perpetual futures contracts. There will be no further announcement on such adjustments.
The capped funding rate multiplier for USDⓈ-M BNXUSDT Perpetual Contracts is raised from 0.75 to 1.
It is important to note that the maintenance margin change will directly affect liquidation price. Users who hold existing positions of USDⓈ-M BNXUSDT Perpetual Contracts will be affected. To avoid being liquidated (i.e. margin ratio hits 100%), please add more margin to your USDⓈ-M Futures account or reduce your positions. It is recommended to control the margin ratio below 80%.
Maintenance margin rate change will affect the funding rates of the USDⓈ-M BNXUSDT Perpetual Contracts. Capped Funding Rate = clamp (Funding Rate, -1 * Maintenance Margin Ratio, 1* Maintenance Margin Ratio). For more details on funding rate, please refer to Introduction to Binance Futures Funding Rates.
