2) Item introduction

Celo is an open platform that aims to provide blockchain-based financial services to financially underprivileged areas by using email addresses and phone numbers as public keys. The project is building a blockchain app ecosystem, including easier transfers, P2P (Peer to Peer) lending, and digital asset wallets, to build a platform where users can use financial services as simply and conveniently as other mobile apps. CELO is the native token of the Celo ecosystem and is used for governance, its own mainnet transaction fees, collateral for stablecoins (cUSD, cEUR, cREAL) in the Celo ecosystem, and a price adjustment mechanism through smart contracts. The Cello mainnet uses a proof-of-stake (PoS) consensus algorithm and is improving EVM compatibility through a hard fork of the Ethereum code.
