On March 1st, 2022, The Sandbox announced that it has formed a new partnership with Square Enix to bring Dungeon Siege to the gaming metaverse. The partnership includes two parts:

• Offer a Dungeon Siege LAND on Square Enix's estate with interactive RPG experiences players can enjoy while learning how to construct Dungeon Siege adventures.
• Provide players and creators Dungeon Siege voxel characters and items using The Sandbox's VoxEdit and Game Maker #nocode creation tools.
