Bybit P2P to introduce Maker fees for NGN buy ads

We are updating Bybit P2P for the Nigerian Naira (NGN) market. Starting Sept 8, 2025, Makers posting NGN buy ads will be subject to transaction fees. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a fair and sustainable P2P trading environment.

Who is affected?

Bybit P2P trading involves two roles:

- Takers: Users who buy or sell cryptocurrencies by selecting existing advertisements on the Bybit P2P platform.

- Makers: Users who create and post advertisements to buy or sell cryptocurrencies.

Fees for Takers: Takers will continue to enjoy zero transaction fees on Bybit P2P. However, fees from third-party payment providers may apply based on the selected payment method.

Fees for Makers: Makers posting NGN buy ads will be subject to transaction fees based on their advertiser level.
