KuCoin Will Support the Merlin Chain (MERL) Network Upgrade

Dear KuCoin Users,

KuCoin will support the Merlin Chain (MERL) Network upgrade.

The arrangements are as follows:

1. The Merlin Chain (MERL) Network upgrade will take place approximately at 15:00 on the 20th of January 2026 (UTC);

2. Due to the Merlin Chain (MERL) Network upgrade, we have decided to suspend the deposit and withdrawal services for Merlin Chain (MERL) and tokens belonging to the network;

3. The deposit and withdrawal services of Merlin Chain (MERL) and tokens belonging to the network will be suspended at 14:30 on the 20th of January 2026 (UTC).  We strongly recommend not to deposit and withdraw until the upgrade is complete.

Please note:

1. The network upgrade will not affect the trading of Merlin Chain (MERL);

2. Regarding further developments on when these services will be restored, we will not notify users in a further announcement.
