Spring 1.0 Stable Released

This milestone is the result of incredible efforts by ENF engineers and key contributors across the EOS ecosystem.

Key Highlights of Spring 1.0

• Savanna Consensus: The introduction of the Savanna consensus algorithm brings Instant Finality to the EOS Network, reducing transaction finality time by 100x and setting a new standard in blockchain efficiency. This advancement ensures faster and more reliable transactions, reinforcing EOS's position at the forefront of blockchain technology.
• Enhanced Cryptography: Aggregate BLS signatures lay the groundwork for advanced cryptographic innovations, paving the way for the future implementation of zero-knowledge proof systems and stronger privacy features. These enhancements make the EOS network more secure and capable of supporting complex cryptographic operations.
• Flexible Blockchain Structure: Spring 1.0 opens the door to a potential reconfiguration of the traditional Block Producer role, allowing for the introduction of Block Proposers and Block Finalizers. This change, if adopted, could lead to greater decentralization and improved security across the network.
