What's a fast finality layer? A first-of-its-kind solution that processes transactions for Ethereum rollups in just 3-4 seconds, compared to hours or even days on Ethereum. Plus, it enables secure, low-latency cross-rollup communication, solving major challenges for L2 builders. This collaboration between NEAR and EigenLayer will reduce liquidity fragmentation between Layer-2s, allowing them to make independent decisions about their sequencers, all while retaining Ethereum's security guarantees.
