Its core mechanism involves continuously accumulating SOL through capital market operations (e.g., equity raises, financing) and staking the held SOL to generate approximately 7% annualized yield, while operating validator nodes to support the network. The company's goal is to maximize SOL holdings on a per-share basis, rather than fiat-denominated net asset value. The model was co-created by Pantera Capital and Summer Capital, drawing inspiration from MicroStrategy's Bitcoin treasury strategy but optimized for the Solana ecosystem.
