Additional Products Ethena Perpetual (ENAF0:USTF0), Lido Perpetual (LDOF0:USTF0) and Sei Perpetual (SEIF0:USTF0), Updated Product Descriptions for Bitfinex Derivatives

Bitfinex Derivatives* is pleased to announce the following updates to the Derivatives Product Descriptions. The Product Descriptions now include Ethena (ENAF0:USTF0), Lido (LDOF0:USTF0) and Sei (SEIF0:USTF0) perpetual contracts as of 17/04/2026 at 10:00 AM UTC.

The new Ethena, Lido and Sei perpetual contracts can be traded with a maximum leverage of 100x.

We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex customers can deposit and withdraw XAUT0 on the Bitfinex platform using the Celo transport layer, effective from 10:00 AM UTC on 16/04/2026. 

This follows the deployment of XAUT0 on Celo, a mobile-first platform designed to make decentralised applications and crypto payments accessible to anyone with a smartphone.

The API symbol for XAUT0 on the Celo transport layer is XAUT0CELO.

Note: Trading is available for XAUt (ERC-20) only. Customers must convert XAUT0 (Celo) to XAUt (ERC-20) first to trade. 

Our customers can convert XAUT0 (Celo) into XAUt (ERC-20) and vice versa using the Bitfinex Currency Conversion tool in the Wallet section. The Currency Conversion tool can be accessed directly here once logged into the platform.

Deposits and withdrawals of the XAUT0 token on Bitfinex are also available on the TON (XAUT0TON), Solana (XAUT0SOL) and Plasma (XAUT0XPL) transport layers. 

The Tether Gold (XAUT) token is available to trade on Bitfinex against USD, USDt and BTC.

The Bitfinex trading platform will be offline for a limited period of time on 25/03/2026 to undergo a scheduled maintenance upgrade aimed at enhancing the stability and scalability of our infrastructure.

The upgrade is expected to begin at approximately 08:00 AM UTC (subject to change) and will last for around six hours. During this period, all Bitfinex services will be unavailable. Trading will be suspended. Customers will be unable to log in, access wallets or funds, or execute trades.

We advise all customers to plan accordingly and make any necessary account adjustments prior to the maintenance window.

During the Maintenance Period:

• All funds on account will be unaffected.
• No orders will be executed.
• All open orders will remain open (regardless of price movements) and will become active once the platform is back online.
• Customer positions will not be liquidated during the maintenance period. However, if markets move significantly while the platform is offline, liquidations may occur once trading resumes. We recommend all customers review margin requirements and assess risk before the maintenance begins.

We will notify customers five minutes prior to the platform reopening. During this window, customers may cancel any existing orders. Full platform functionality, including trading and all other services, will resume five minutes after the platform becomes accessible.
