Project Summary
Ravencoin is a decentralized, open-source, community-driven, proof-of-work blockchain protocol built on a code fork of Bitcoin. Ravencoin was fairly launched on January 3, 2018 without pre-allocated funds or block taxes.
Ravencoin adds features specifically focused on simple issuance and management of tradable blockchain-based assets, which may represent any real-world asset such as securities, commodities, real estate, NFTs, etc. Assets are created via burning the native currency RVN.
