Notice Regarding the Upcoming PYR Token Swap

Fellow Binancians,

After the security incident against PYR on 2021-12-13 (UTC), Binance has kept in communications with the Vulcan Forged team to find proper solutions for the affected users. Binance will follow PYR’s token swap plan with a timeline as shown below:

According to the Vulcan Forged team’s announcement, Binance will only credit PYR tokens deposited before Ethereum block height 13,861,639 (2021-12-23 01:19:35 PM UTC) and Polygon (MATIC) block height 22,869,063 (2021-12-23 01:19:44 PM UTC)
Binance took a snapshot of user holdings at the timings stated above and will distribute new PYR tokens to all eligible token holders at the ratio of 1 PYR (Old) = 1 PYR (New)
After the token swap, the old PYR tokens will be renamed as oldPYR, and the new PYR tokens will assume the PYR ticker.

Please note:

Users’ PYR deposited before Ethereum block height 13,861,639 (2021-12-23 01:19:35 PM UTC) and Polygon (MATIC) block height 22,869,063 (2021-12-23 01:19:44 PM UTC) will be automatically swapped for new PYR tokens. No action is needed from the user side.
A separate announcement will be posted after the token swap is complete; the opening time for PYR deposits and withdrawals will be announced at the same time.
Binance will not support any deposit and withdrawal of the old PYR tokens. Any old PYR tokens deposited will not be credited to your account.
