Bitfinex to Support USDT0 Deposits and Withdrawals

Bitfinex is pleased to announce that it now supports USDT0, a bridged version of Tether USD (USDt) managed by the USDT0 Consortium - an ecosystem initiative launched by a consortium using LayerZero’s OFT standard, and designed to expand USDt utility across blockchains. 

This integration allows Bitfinex customers to deposit and withdraw USDT0 on supported blockchains. Today, Bitfinex is making USDT0 deposits and withdrawals available on Ink and Arbitrum One, in order to enhance cross-chain interoperability through LayerZero’s bridging solution.

To convert USDT into USDT0, and vice-versa, Bitfinex customers can use the Bitfinex Currency Conversion tool in the Wallet section. The Currency Conversion tool can be accessed directly here once logged into the platform

Please note that USDT0 is not directly issued or redeemable by Tether.
