Bitfinex to Delist EOS Perpetual Swap

Update on 21st May, 2025 - Delisting time for the EOS (tEOSF0:USTF0) perpetual swap has been updated to 2:00 PM UTC on Friday, 23/05/2025, and the ability to only reduce open positions will now begin from 2:00 PM UTC on Wednesday, 21/05/2025.

Bitfinex will delist the EOS (tEOSF0:USTF0) perpetual swap on Friday, 23/05/2025, at 10:00 AM UTC.

The removal of this perpetual swap follows our regular monitoring of market conditions to ensure the best trading experience for our customers. 

From 10:00 AM UTC on Wednesday, 21/05/2025, customers will only be able to reduce their open positions in tEOSF0:USTF0.

We would like to remind our customers to cancel any open orders on tEOSF0:USTF0 perpetual before 10:00 AM UTC on 23/05/2025. Any open positions that are not closed by this deadline will be force-settled by the system. The mark price used to settle contracts will be the fair market value of the underlying spot market based on data from several leading exchanges.

The spot market for EOS pairs with Bitcoin (EOS/BTC), US Dollar (EOS/USD) and Tether USD (EOS/USDt) will remain available for trading on Bitfinex.
