Bitfinex Completes the EOS (EOS) Token Swap and Rebranding to Vaulta (A)

Further to our announcement to support the EOS (EOS) Token Swap and Rebranding to Vaulta (A), we are pleased to announce that the token swap and rebranding are now complete. 

All existing EOS token balances on Bitfinex have been replaced with Vaulta (A) token balances at a 1:1 ratio. The new Vaulta token can be traded under the ticker “A” and the API symbol “EOS”. Vaulta is available to trade with US Dollars (USD), Tether USD (USDt) and Bitcoin (BTC).

Following the completion of the token swap, deposits and withdrawals for the A token were opened on 18/06/2025 at approximately 1:00 PM UTC.

The following services have also been rebranded and resumed:

• UNUS SED LEO on Vaulta (API: LES) deposits and withdrawals
• Tether USD (USDt) on Vaulta (API: TETHERUSS) deposits
• CHEX (API: CHEX) withdrawals

Bitfinex customers can convert their UNUS SED LEO tokens between the supported chains (e.g., Ethereum to Vaulta and vice versa) using the currency converter on the Wallets page. For details, please visit this Knowledge Base article.
