Important Update: OpenPayd IBAN Change

Please note that for all Bitfinex customers who use OpenPayd to make EUR deposits, we have been advised that OpenPayd has updated its IBANs, transitioning from Great Britain (GB) IBANs to Malta (MT) IBANs. The IBANs for GBP deposits remain unchanged.

To accommodate this change, Bitfinex has also updated the EUR OpenPayd deposit instructions accordingly within its User Interface.

Effective immediately, when making a new EUR deposit via OpenPayd, please ensure that you input the new MT IBAN deposit details displayed on the Bitfinex Deposit Page.

Important: EUR deposits sent to the old GB IBANs will continue to be credited to customers' accounts until their discontinuation on 30/11/2025. After this date, GB IBANs will be deactivated. Please do not send EUR deposits to GB IBANs after this date to avoid losing funds.
