Bitfinex Announces Zero Fees for Trading

Bitfinex is pleased to announce that fees charged for trading activity on the platform will be eliminated. Effective immediately, fees for all maker and taker activity on Bitfinex platforms will no longer be charged. 

Zero fees will apply to the following products:

• Spot and Margin trading
• Derivatives trading
• Securities trading
• OTC trading

Note: Fees for margin lending will remain unchanged and will continue to be charged at the prevailing rate.

Adjustments to UNUS SED LEO (LEO) token holders' benefits and the Bitfinex Affiliate Program

With this zero-fee implementation, the following changes will also take place: 

• For Bitfinex Affiliate Program Participants: The affiliate earnings associated with trading fees will no longer apply.
  
  
• For UNUS SED LEO (LEO) Token Holders: The trading fee discount benefit for trading activity associated with holding the UNUS SED LEO (LEO) token will no longer apply.

With the removal of maker and taker fees, Bitfinex sets a new benchmark for efficiency in exchange trading, offering one of the most cost-effective environments for trading cryptocurrencies and tokenised securities.

We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex customers can now deposit and withdraw USDT0 on the Stable mainnet, effective 02:30 AM UTC on 10/12/2025. USDT0 is also available for deposit and withdrawal on Ink (USDT0INK), Arbitrum One (USDT0ARB), Optimism (USDT0OPX), Polygon (USDT0POL) and Plasma (USDT0XPL) transport layers. 

This new feature follows the deployment of USDT0 onto Stable, a high-performance blockchain optimised for stablecoin transactions and digital asset settlements.

The API symbol for USDT0 on the Stable transport layer is USDT0STABLE.

Please note that USDT0STABLE will not be available for trading. Our customers can convert USDT0 into USDt, and vice versa, using the Bitfinex Currency Conversion tool in the Wallet section. The Currency Conversion tool can be accessed directly here once logged into the platform.

Trading of the STABLE token commenced on Bitfinex against USD and USDt on 08/12/2025.

We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex will list the Stable (STABLE) token. STABLE will be available to trade with US Dollars (STABLE/USD) and Tether USD tokens (STABLE/USDt).

Key Dates and Actions:

Deposits: Deposits of STABLE (Mainnet) are open as of 08:00 AM UTC on 05/11/2025. 

Trading: Trading of STABLE is expected to commence on 08/12/2025 at approximately 12:00 PM UTC, contingent on liquidity requirements being met. 

Withdrawals: Withdrawals are expected to open on 09/12/2025 at approximately 01:00 PM UTC, subject to network conditions.

Update on 8/12/2025 - Please note that the XTZ staking discontinuation, which was originally scheduled for 10/12/2025, has been postponed. It will now take place on 17/12/2025.

In line with our commitment to delivering the best user experience, Bitfinex will discontinue staking for Tezos (XTZ) on 10/12/2025. The final distribution of staking rewards will also occur on 10/12/2025.

Customers do not need to take any action.
