[Important] Introducing the ST (Special Treatment) Warning for Perpetual Contracts

To maintain a fair, transparent and stable trading environment, Bybit will soon begin applying an ST (Special Treatment) Warning/ST Tag to selected Perpetual Contracts in accordance with our Perpetual Contract Management Rules.

The ST Tag indicates that a contract currently carries elevated market or operational risk. Contracts marked with an ST Tag will be subject to enhanced monitoring and may face trading restrictions, suspension or delisting if necessary.

When is an ST Tag applied?

A Perpetual Contract may be assigned an ST Tag if it meets one or more of the following conditions:

- Low liquidity: Extremely low trading volume on Bybit or poor liquidity across the underlying index constituent exchanges.

- Abnormal price behavior: Unusual price spikes, flash crashes or sustained deviation from the broader market or reference price.

- Project-related risks: Security incidents, critical technical issues, governance concerns, regulatory pressure, or any material event that impacts the safety or viability of the underlying asset.
