AIFC Card fee update notice

We’re updating how the FX fee works on your AIFC Card.

Effective: Feb 26, 2026, 12AM UTC

What’s changing

Current: A 2% FX fee applies only to non-USD transactions.

From the effective date: The same 2% FX fee will also apply to cross-border purchases (transactions made outside Kazakhstan), even if the transaction is charged in USD.

We’ll publish the updated Cardholder Terms & Conditions before the effective date. If these changes aren’t right for you, you can close your card anytime before the effective date.
