At 20:23 UTC on October 6, 2025, during a period of extreme market volatility, the SERAPHUSDT and other perpetual contracts experienced abnormal price deviations from the spot market. Following an internal review, Bybit confirmed that the system logic functioned as intended.

However, significantly reduced liquidity contributed to discrepancies between spot and derivatives prices, resulting in notable price fluctuations. Some clients may have been affected by off-market prices.
