Bybit to Support Render (RNDR) Token Swap and Rebranding to Render (RENDER)

Following Render Network’s upgrade from Ethereum (ETH) to Solana (SOL), Bybit will be supporting the Render (RNDR) token swap and rebranding to Render (RENDER). All RNDR tokens held on Bybit will be swapped to RENDER tokens at a 1:1 ratio and airdropped to users' Spot Accounts or Unified Trading Accounts (if upgraded) by Jul 31, 2024. During this process, trading, deposits, and withdrawals of RNDR will be temporarily suspended.

Detailed Timeline

Jul 16, 2024, 8AM UTC

• New orders for Borrowing (UTA), Spot Margin, Crypto Loans, Institutional Loans, or Bybit Savings with RNDR will no longer be accepted.

Jul 22, 2024, 8AM UTC

• The RNDRUSDT Perpetual Contract will be delisted and trading will no longer be supported.

• All active and conditional orders for the RNDRUSDT Perpetual Contract will be canceled.

• All open positions for the RNDRUSDT Perpetual Contract will be closed based on the average index price in the last 30 minutes before the delisting.

• No more new RNDRUSDT Futures Grid or Futures Martingale Bots can be created. All running bots will be terminated automatically.

• All open Copy Trading positions for RNDRUSDT will be closed, and no more new orders can be placed.

Jul 24, 2024, 6AM UTC

• All Spot trading bots for RNDR will be terminated automatically. We recommend that you manage your positions accordingly before termination to avoid any potential losses.

Jul 25, 2024, 3AM UTC

• RNDR will no longer be accepted as collateral on Spot Margin, Borrowing (UTA), Crypto Loans, or Institutional Loans, and cannot be used for repayment.

• Any outstanding RNDR liabilities must be repaid before Jul 25, 2024, 3AM UTC. Failure to do so will trigger automatic repayment of RNDR liabilities and may lead to potential asset losses.

• We strongly encourage users to adjust their margin before Jul 25, 2024, 3AM UTC, if applicable, and closely monitor the maintenance margin rate (MMR) and loan-to-value (LTV) ratio to avoid any potential liquidation.

Jul 25, 2024, 8AM UTC

• RNDR will be removed from Bybit Savings. Users' principal and accrued yield from staking RNDR in Bybit Savings will be automatically credited to their Funding Accounts.

Jul 26, 2024, 8AM UTC

• RNDR/USDT will be delisted from Bybit Spot and trading will no longer be supported. All pending orders will be automatically canceled.

Jul 26, 2024, 9AM UTC

• RNDR token and all its trading pairs will be delisted from Bybit Convert.

• RNDR deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and internal transfers will be suspended.

• RNDR tokens deposited before or during the process will not be lost, and will be credited to users' accounts as RENDER after the upgrade is complete.

• Please note that Bybit will no longer support RNDR deposits or withdrawals after the upgrade. Any RNDR deposits made after this point will not be credited or refunded. Any existing RNDR tokens can only be withdrawn as RENDER.

During the upgrade, you may experience temporary restrictions on viewing the RNDR assets in your accounts. Rest assured that all RNDR assets are secure and unaffected. The token swap from RNDR on the ETH chain to RENDER on the SOL chain may take some time to complete. Once the upgrade is finished, you will be able to transfer these assets again. RENDER listing details will be announced in a separate announcement.

Please note that queries on relevant pages and OpenAPI may also encounter temporary unavailability. We advise you to pay attention to any relevant notifications during this period to minimize potential impacts on your RNDR trades.
