Bybit to Support UXLINK Token Contract Upgrade and Announces Follow-up Plan
Following the security incident affecting the UXLINK (UXLINK) project, we fully understand the concerns of the community. At Bybit, the safety and interests of our users remain our highest priority.In the immediate aftermath of the incident, the Bybit team has been in close communication with the project team and other partners to actively seek the most secure and responsible solution, ensuring that our users’ interests are protected to the greatest extent possible.To uphold our commitment, Bybit will assume responsibility and provide compensation and redemption arrangements to ensure all affected users’ assets are properly handled.Bybit will take a snapshot of all UXLINK assets successfully deposited to the platform before 14:55 (UTC) on September 22, 2025, and execute the contract migration at a 1:1 ratio based on current balances.For any UXLINK balance changes after the snapshot due to deposits or trading, Bybit will handle them as follows:- UXLINK deposited on-chain after the snapshot For UXLINK deposited on-chain to Bybit after 14:55 (UTC) on September 22, 2025, the platform will fully compensate UXLINK at a 1:1 ratio.
- UXLINK purchased via spot trading Bybit will refund the corresponding USDT based on the user’s average purchase price and the closing price:
Notes:- 0.0447 USDT refers to the closing price on Bybit at the time trading was suspended (14:00 UTC, October 4, 2025).
- Average purchase price = total purchase cost / total purchase quantity (calculated based on user trades after 14:55 UTC on September 22, 2025).
In accordance with the official UXLINK (UXLINK) contract upgrade plan, Bybit will fully cooperate to complete this token migration. After the contract upgrade is completed, Bybit will immediately begin processing exchanges and refunds. The system will first deduct UXLINK from users’ accounts and distribute it to their main account funding accounts in batches.
