Service Changes for Japanese Residents

At Bybit, we are committed to operating our business in full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. We are writing to inform you of important regulatory developments that will directly affect your account.

Bybit will gradually cease to offer products and services to Japanese residents in accordance with the timelines set out below. As you have been identified as an impacted user either through Japanese issued documents, Japanese Proof of Residence, or Japanese IP, please review the following details regarding the implications and relevant timelines for your account. Please complete Identity Verification Level 2 (POA/KYC2) of your account if needed. [You will still be able to complete Identity Verification Level 2 (POA/KYC2) after January 22, 2026]:

About Close-Only Mode: Effective Mar 23, 2026, 12:00 GMT+9

Your account will be restricted to "Close-Only" mode. You will not be able to open or add new positions or use any products except Convert* (with limitations) and Crypto Withdrawals. This "Close-Only" restriction applies to all Bybit products (excluding Convert and Crypto Withdrawals) including but not limited to One-Click Buy, Bybit Card, P2P, all Spot products, all Derivative products, Bybit Earn and Bybit structured products. Your Copy trading relationships and Trading Bots will also be terminated on this date.

Please ensure that you close all open positions and begin withdrawing your funds and assets from your account to avoid any unwanted disruptions.

*Convert will be available solely for crypto-to-crypto transactions and only for conversion into the following tokens:

- BTC

- ETH

- USDC

About Liquidation: Effective Jul 22, 2026, 12:00 GMT+9

All remaining open positions across all products will be liquidated, and card services will be suspended. Please ensure all open positions are closed and assets are withdrawn by this date.

Please note that the Convert and Crypto Withdrawals functions will remain available continuously.
