Welcome Layla Amjadi! Our New VP of Product

We are thrilled to welcome Layla Amjadi as our new VP of Product!

Layla joins us from Meta f/k/a Facebook, where she spent 9 years, including 7 at Instagram, where she was the Founder and Product Director of Instagram Shopping. Prior to Shopping, Layla founded and led the Instagram Explore Tab and the Creator product strategy for Instagram’s founders.

As our VP of Product, Layla will build on her deep experience to foster a high-performing product culture that delivers simple, elegant, and secure products that thoroughly delight our customers.

Layla is the latest addition to a team of highly-accomplished senior leaders who have recently joined Gemini, including Chief Technology Officer Pravjit Tiwana, who joined from Amazon Web Services and VP of Platform Nils Pommerian, who joined from Netflix.
