HTX Token Unlocking Plan Launches on August 18, 2025!

Dear HTX Users,

The HTX Token Unlocking Plan officially goes live on August 18, 2025, at 10:00:00 (UTC). In response to feedback from the HTX DAO community, this plan introduces a major upgrade to the unlocking mechanism, delivering a smoother and more convenient experience.

Event Period: 10:00:00 (UTC) on Aug 18, 2025 - 15:59:59 (UTC) on Aug 18, 2026

Key Updates:

• Previous Mechanism: The system randomly took daily snapshots of your staked asset value, calculated the daily unlockable amount at a 5% APY, then converted the amount into HTX tokens based on its daily closing price.
• Optimized Mechanism: The staking-based unlocks will now be calculated at an 8% APY, providing a higher daily release amount.

Notes:

• Users must set their unlocking plan with a specific period and ratio before the tasks expire. Failure to configure these settings by the deadline will result in the system automatically applying the default scheme: a 5-year period with 70% unlocked via staking and 30% via trading fees.
• Staked assets serve solely as collateral for unlocking HTX; they do not participate in other Earn products or profit distributions on the platform.
• The token unlocking will be executed according to your unlock period and ratio settings in your remedial task. If the staking or trading fee conditions are not met on a given day or month, the unreleased HTX tokens for that period will be reallocated to the remaining total and proportionally redistributed over the remaining duration. If there is still an unreleased amount at the end of the selected period, the system will automatically extend the release period, up to a maximum of 5 years. After that, any HTX token that remains locked will be considered forfeited by the user and will no longer be released.
• HTX reserves the right to disqualify participants and freeze their associated assets for any violations, including bulk account registration, fraudulent trading, or money laundering.
• HTX reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or terminate the terms and unlock mechanism of this announcement at any time, without prior notice. All matters regarding this event are subject to HTX's final interpretation.
