Huobi Global's Second Supplementary Notice on Supporting the Upcoming Ethereum Merge

Dear Huobi Global Users,

The Ethereum Merge will be triggered when the PoW (Proof of Work) mainnet reaches the Terminal Total Difficulty (TTD) value of 58750000000000000000000, which is expected to happen on 2022-09-15 at around 05:07 (UTC) at an approximate ETH mainnet block height of 15,537,351.

Prior to this, Huobi Global has issued a Notice on Supporting the Upcoming Ethereum Merge (View details). See below for further details concerning the Ethereum Merge:

1. Suspension of deposits and withdrawals

Huobi Global will suspend the deposit and withdrawal services for ETH and ERC-20 tokens from 02:00 (UTC) on 2022-09-15. This is an estimated time and is subject to change. We kindly advise you to spare a sufficient time buffer for your deposits and withdrawals of the affected tokens. Notifications will be sent once services resume. 

2. Snapshot time of ETH balances

Huobi Global plans to set 2022-09-15 03:00 (UTC) as the snapshot time to distribute the forked tokens to its users. Please note that the forked tokens will only be credited to users who hold ETH at this time. The specific time for this distribution may be subject to change and notifications will be sent accordingly. For details about ETH holding accounts, please refer to our previous announcement (View details).

3. Others

Huobi Global will immediately distribute the forked tokens to users holding ETH upon receipt, and will send a notice to inform users about the completion of the crediting process.
