ETH Staking Product Upgrade Announcement

Dear KuCoin Users,

To further optimize the ETH Staking product experience, we will perform a system upgrade for ETH Staking at 05:30-08:30 on August 26, 2025 (UTC).The upgrade time may be extended if necessary.Details are as follows:

I. Upgrade time

• Upgrade window: 26 August 2025, 05:30–08:30 (UTC)

• Estimated completion: 26 August 2025, 08:30 (UTC)

II. Upgrade content

• Support redeeming ksETH to ETH via Convert; the quick-redeem feature will roll out starting 29 August.

• ksETH in the Funding Account and the Trading Account will be transferred to the Financial Account; the ksETH-ETH spot pair will be delisted from the spot market. ksETH will be recorded in the Financial Account and available for quick redemption.

III. Service suspension

• During the upgrade, ETH Staking subscription and redemption functions will be temporarily suspended.

• Existing staked ETH and accrued rewards will not be affected; Related functions will resume after the upgrade completes.

IV. Risk notice

• ksETH redemption may be temporarily affected during the upgrade window; Please plan accordingly.

• After the upgrade, the ksETH Normal Redemption function will resume, while the Quick Redemption function will gradually open starting from August 29, 2025.

V. How to use the quick-redeem function

• Go to the ETH-Staking product page and click Redeem to use the quick-redeem function.
