To further strengthen asset and account security for institutional clients, KuCoin has officially launched the Institutional Security Verification Upgrade Service.

Supported by the KuCoin Risk Control team, this service is designed for institutional clients with higher security requirements. It introduces a multi-layered, non-bypassable security verification mechanism that covers key aspects such as passwords, Google Authenticator (GA), and email verification, significantly enhancing account protection. The mechanism applies to critical operations including account login, withdrawals to both trusted and new addresses, and API creation—ensuring that every access and operation is safeguarded by verifiable security defenses.

In addition, KuCoin has implemented a 24-hour cooling-off period for withdrawal address whitelisting, further mitigating potential risks and enhancing the protection of both accounts and assets. Institutional clients can apply for and selectively enable these features based on their operational needs, gaining a more flexible and robust security experience.
