KuCoin Will Support the Dai (DAI) Token Swap and Rebranding to USDS (USDS)

KuCoin will support the token swap and rebranding of Dai (DAI)  to USDS (USDS). The DAI to USDS token swap will automatically be completed for DAI holders on KuCoin.

The arrangements are as follows:

1. The deposit and withdrawal services of DAI will be closed at 04:00:00 on April 3, 2026 (UTC).

2. The trading services for USDT/DAI, ETH/DAI, BTC/DAI trading pairs will be closed at 06:00:00 on April 3, 2026 (UTC).

3. To complete the swap, KuCoin will take snapshots of users’ DAI assets at 10:00:00 on April 3, 2026 (UTC). After the snapshot, we will convert the old DAI tokens to the new USDS tokens at a ratio of 1:1 (1 old DAI = 1 new USDS).

4. Deposit and withdrawal services of USDS as well as the trading services for the USDT/USDS trading pair will be opened after the swap is completed. We will notify users in a further announcement.

Important Information:

1. The snapshots will include DAI balances in Spot accounts (Funding Account Trading Account);

2. DAI tokens that were in pending deposit or withdrawal at the time of the snapshots will not be counted towards your balance;

3. After the deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for DAI are closed, the DAI token will NO longer be supported on KuCoin. For users who deposit DAI afterward, KuCoin will NOT be able to cover users’ losses.
