What is NEXPACE ?

NXPC is the foundational token of the MapleStory Universe ecosystem, designed to capture and represent the value of both in-game activity and broader ecosystem growth. It serves multiple roles: as a utility token used for transaction fees within the Layer 1 network, as a medium of exchange for acquiring NFT item baskets, and as a reserve asset for NESO—the game currency pegged to NXPC. Additionally, NXPC functions as an "IP ETF," reflecting the aggregate value of all underlying NFTs and in-game assets it can redeem.

NXPC demand is driven by both immediate and long-term utility. In the short term, it fuels gameplay: valuable items are created using NXPC, enhanced with NESO, and all related network activity consumes NXPC as gas. In our latest open beta, 76% of circulating tokens were actively used in gameplay, validating real user demand. In the long term, NXPC anchors a growing creator economy—where third-party developers build new applications on the ecosystem SDK, receive NXPC incentives, and bring in new users beyond the traditional gaming audience.
