Dear Upbit users,

Upbit will support the rebranding of Standard Tokenization Protocol(STPT) to AWE Network(AWE) and the associated token swap.

Please refer to the following details regarding the temporary suspension of deposits, withdrawals, and trading support due to the rebranding and token swap. (In accordance with Article 17, Paragraph 1, Items A, B of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Protection of Virtual Asset Users)

[STPT Rebranding and Token Swap]

• Network Change : Ethereum → Base
• Korean Name Change: 에스티피 → 에이더블유이
• English Name Change: Standard Tokenization Protocol → AWE Network
• Symbol Change: STPT → AWE
• Token Swap Ratio: 1 STPT = 1 AWE

[Details on STPT Rebranding]

• In January 2025, the foundation announced the development of the Autonomous Worlds Engine ("AWE") to create an ecosystem for AI agent systems and unveiled a rebranding proposal to the community for transitioning to the AWE Network to support the foundation's vision.
• From January 28 to February 2, 2025, a snapshot vote on the rebranding to AWE was held, and the proposal passed with 98.07% approval.
• On February 3, 2025, the foundation officially announced the rebranding of STPT to AWE.

• The foundation plans to provide a swap portal for approximately six months in relation to the token swap.
• As the existing STPT will no longer be maintained by the foundation, Upbit will support the rebranding to AWE.
• Upbit will closely collaborate with the foundation to ensure the safe protection of user assets, and if there are any further updates or changes, additional guidance will be provided through this notice.

[Temporary Suspension of Deposits and Withdrawals]

• Affected Digital Asset: Standard Tokenization Protocol (STPT)
• Suspension Start Time: 2025-04-14 (Mon) 11:00 (KST)
• Resumption Notice: Deposits and withdrawals will resume after the rebranding and token swap are completed and system stability is confirmed, with a separate announcement to follow.
• After the rebranding and token swap are completed, the deposit address will change. Therefore, it is mandatory to obtain a new deposit address after the rebranding and token swap is completed.
• During the suspension period of deposit and withdrawal support, the return process for STPT will be temporarily halted. After the process is completed, returns to existing STPT addresses will no longer be possible, so please make sure to complete your return request before the support suspension begins.

[Temporary Suspension of Trading Support]

• Affected Market: STPT/KRW, STPT/BTC
• Trading Suspension Period: 2025-04-16 (Wed) 14:00 KST ~ until the rebranding and token swap are completed (exact timing to be announced separately)
  *Upon resumption, the market name will change to AWE/KRW, AWE/BTC.*During the suspension period, the affected market will be hidden, and STPT will not be included in the KRW balance calculation.

[Important Notes]

• In case of deposit/withdrawal suspension, delays may occur due to network congestion or blockchain transaction confirmation times.
• Some deposits/withdrawals may still occur on certain blockchain networks before or after the suspension time, but transactions will not be processed until the maintenance is completed. Processing may be delayed after the suspension period due to verification procedures.
• Do NOT deposit STPT after the suspension time. Any STPT deposited after the suspension will not be eligible for the token swap.
• Depositing STPT after the suspension period may take a long time to recover and will incur a recovery fee.
• Recovery may not be possible depending on the foundation's decisions and plans.
