DORA Contract Upgrade
We are pleased to announce the official migration of the DORA token from ERC-20 to the Dora Vota mainnet, starting on 22 September 2024.
This migration is a significant milestone in Dora Factory’s development and marks a major upgrade in the functionality of the DORA token. The Dora Vota mainnet is an appchain built exclusively for the Dora community, supporting essential applications such as quadratic voting and MACI (Minimal Anti-collusion Infrastructure) for voting, public good funding, and governance. The DORA token will be upgraded from a smart contract governance token to an appchain native token, allowing it to be used for transaction fees on the blockchain, economic security for the upcoming anonymous MACI infrastructures, and the native currency to support many other applications of governance in Web3 / crypto communities and beyond.
The token swap for DORA will be conducted at a 1:1 ratio.
