Nahmii is a revolutionary Layer-2 scaling protocol for the Ethereum blockchain, which provides unrivalled throughput, low latency, instant finality and predictable fees. Using smart contracts, Nahmii's non-custodial system ensures that user's funds are always safe.

Are There Transaction Fees on Nahmii(NII)?

Transaction fees on Nahmii are charged similarly to Ethereum, in that the more complex a transaction is, the higher the gas used. Nahmii on initial release is using Ethereum as its native fee currency, but Nahmii has a fixed gas price, which reduces transaction fee volatility.

NII Token Allocation

Nahmii is a tokenised protocol. There are a total of 120 billion Nahmii (NII) tokens, which are held in time-locked contracts and released at the rate of 1 billion tokens per month over 10 years. The first emission was in December 2018.
As tokens are released from the time-locked contract, they will be distributed accordingly:

• 50% proportionally to HBT token holders (if held in a non-blacklisted Ethereum address or Nahmii)
