Binance Will List ZKsync (ZK) with ZK Token Distribution Program

Binance will list ZKsync (ZK) and open trading for the following spot trading pairs at 2024-06-17 08:00 (UTC).

• New Spot Trading Pairs: ZK/BTC, ZK/USDT, ZK/FDUSD and ZK/TRY.

• Users can now start depositing ZK in preparation for trading.

• Withdrawals will open at 2024-06-18 08:00 (UTC).

• ZK Listing Fee: 0 BNB.

• ZKsnc Network Explorer 

Notes:

• The seed tag will be applied to ZK.

• TRY is a fiat currency and does not represent any other digital currencies.

• The withdrawal open time is an estimated time for users’ reference. Users can view the actual status of withdrawals on the withdrawal page.

• For users with running Spot Copy Trading portfolios, pairs can be included by enabling them in the [Personal Pair Preference] section of the Spot Copy Trading settings.

What Is ZKsync (ZK)

ZKSync is an Ethereum Layer 2 scaling solution that utilizes EVM-compatible ZK-SNARK roll-up technology.

Binance ZK Token Distribution Program

Program Period: 2024-06-17 02:00 (UTC) - 2024-07-16 23:59 (UTC)

In light of the ongoing concerns from the community around ZK token distribution, Binance is offering 10,500,000 ZK tokens to up to 52,500 Binance users who meet all of the following criteria:

• User has initiated a total of at least 50 transactions on ZKSync Era (where the users are the "from" address in the transaction) between February 2023 and March 2024 (a total of 14 months).

• Conducted transaction(s) in 7 distinctive months (between February 2023 and March 2024). Self-transfers are excluded.

• The claim address was not eligible for ZK tokens from the official ZK Nation airdrop program.

• The claim address is not a contract/CEX/bridge address.

How to Claim ZK Tokens from Binance

1. Eligible users must deposit a minimum of 0.02 ETH from the whitelisted address(s) on the ZKSync ERA network to Binance.com. (Please note: The ETH amount user deposit does not affect the amount of ZK tokens to be distributed.)

2. Only ETH deposited directly from the  following ZKsync active user whitelists are considered valid. Binance will also use these  addresses as reference for the distribution. 

   • Whitelist batch 1

   • Whitelist batch 2

   • Whitelist batch 3

   • Whitelist batch 4

3. ZK tokens will be distributed to users on a first-come, first-served basis, provided that they have met all of the above criteria.

4. Binance will distribute 200 ZK to each Binance User ID (UID).

   • For example, if a user deposited 0.02 ETH from several addresses to the same UID, they are only eligible to claim ZK tokens from the Token Distribution Program once. Binance will only distribute 200 ZK tokens to the UID.

Please note: The first token airdrop will begin from 2024-06-25.

Important Notes

• ZK is a relatively new token that poses a higher than normal risk, and will likely be subject to high price volatility. Users must exercise sufficient risk management and DYOR (do your own research) to fully understand the project before opting to trade the token.

• Seed tags represent innovative projects that may exhibit higher volatility and risks compared to other listed tokens. Seed tag will be applied to ZK.

• To gain trading access to tokens marked with seed tag, users will need to pass the corresponding quizzes every 90 days on the Binance Spot and/or Binance Margin platforms, and accept the Terms of Use. The quizzes are set up to ensure users are aware of the risks before trading the tokens with the Seed Tags. Users may find seed tags on the corresponding Binance Spot and Binance Margin trading pages, as well as on the Markets Overview page. A risk warning banner will also be displayed for all tokens with the Seed Tags.

Trading of the aforementioned new trading pair(s) is subject to eligibility based on the user's country or region of residence. Please note that the list of restricted countries provided below may be changed from time to time, due to mandatory changes in applicable laws and regulations, or other changes relevant to the trading eligibility of these new trading pair(s). Users need to complete account verification to participate in the trading of these new trading pair(s).

Currently, users residing in the following countries or regions will not be able to trade the above-mentioned spot trading pairs: Canada, Cuba, Crimea Region, Iran, Netherlands, North Korea, Syria, United States of America and its territories (American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands), and any non-government controlled areas of Ukraine.
