Bitfinex Enables Deposits and Withdrawals for USDT0 on Plasma

We're pleased to announce that Bitfinex customers can now deposit and withdraw USDT0 on Plasma, effective 03:30 PM UTC on 26/09/2025. USDT0 is also available for deposit and withdrawal on Ink (USDT0INK), Arbitrum One (USDT0ARB) and Optimism (USDT0OPX) transport layers. 

This new feature follows the deployment of USDT0 onto Plasma, a high-performance blockchain network focused on scalability, security, and interoperability.

The API symbol for USDT0 on the Plasma transport layer is USDT0XPL.

Please note that USDT0XPL will not be available for trading. Our customers can convert USDT0 into USDt, and vice versa, using the Bitfinex Currency Conversion tool in the Wallet section. The Currency Conversion tool can be accessed directly here once logged into the platform.

The XPL token commenced trading on Bitfinex against USD and USDt on 25/09/2025.

Bitfinex temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals of UXLINK (UXLINK) at 02:45 AM UTC on September 23, 2025, due to a security incident involving UXLINK’s multi-signature wallet. For more information on the incident, please see UXLINK’s official announcements on X here and here.

The UXLINK team is currently working on a solution to compensate affected UXLINK holders. The UXLINK team has stated their intention to conduct a token swap to compensate affected token holders. During the security incident, a significant number of UXLINK tokens were reported to have been illegally minted and are now in circulation. The UXLINK team has stated that any illegally minted tokens will not be eligible for the token swap. We strongly advise our customers not to send any further UXLINK deposits to our platform to avoid losing funds. 

UXLINK trading will remain open on our platform. Customers can cancel any active orders at any time. 

Bitfinex is closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates on this in a follow-up announcement.
