Bitfinex Supports the Zcash (ZEC) Ironwood Network Upgrade

Zcash (ZEC) is scheduled to undergo the Ironwood network upgrade. 

To support this upgrade, deposits and withdrawals for the ZEC token will be paused starting Friday, 17th July 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM UTC. Bitfinex anticipates that this pause will remain in place for several days.

Spot, margin and derivatives* trading will remain unaffected during this period.

Once deposits are paused, customers are advised not to send any ZEC deposits until further notice. Deposits sent after the closure time may be lost and unrecoverable. A further announcement will be issued once the upgrade is complete, and ZEC deposits and withdrawals have resumed.
