Bitfinex Desktop Settings Page Update

Bitfinex has updated the Settings page on its desktop platform, effective 14 October 2026, to simplify navigation and make key account features easier to access.

Key changes:

• Simplified Navigation: Clearly organised categories make finding and adjusting settings more straightforward.
• Enhanced Security Accessibility: Security controls, including two-factor authentication (2FA), Address Book and Withdrawal Whitelisting, are now more prominent, helping customers strengthen account protection.
• Streamlined Account Management: Sub-accounts, API keys, notification preferences and interface customisation options are now easier to manage.

All existing account settings and preferences have been carried over automatically. No action is required from customers.
