Update on Referral Program: New quarterly commission cap

To enhance the sustainability of Bybit’s Referral Program, protect users’ long-term interests, and maintain a fair ecosystem, we are introducing a quarterly referral commission cap.

Key updates

– Effective date: Feb 7, 2026, 12AM UTC

– Quarterly cap: Each referrer can earn up to $5,000 (or equivalent tokens) per quarter

– Exemption: Users who invite at least 15 new referred users within the current quarter, each of whom deposits at least $100 and completes their first trade after registration, will not be subject to the commission cap in the following quarter.

– VIP users: For special commission arrangements, please contact your Relationship Manager (RM)

Note: This update also helps prevent misuse, such as bulk registrations or wash trading, and supports platform compliance and risk control.

How it works

– Referral commissions generated after the effective date will count toward the new cap

– Once the cap is reached, no additional referral commissions will accrue for the remainder of the quarter; however, normal trading activities and other user rights remain unaffected

– Referral commissions generated before the effective date are not affected

– The referral commission calculation resets at the start of each new quarter
