Gate.io Managed Sub-Account Features are Officially Launched
Gate.io managed sub-account features are officially launched.
Managed sub-account is an add-on feature on top of the sub-account feature. This feature allows investors who want flexibility in asset allocation and asset management to delegate their sub-account(s) to a professional trading team. The professional trading team can use managed sub-account(s) to execute different trading strategies while protecting the trading strategies from disclosure.

Gate.io managed sub-account features
As an Investor, you can now enjoy the following features:
- Can create "managed sub-account" type. API keys can never be viewed or created for this managed sub-account type.
- Managed sub-account fund balances will not be calculated on the trading team's master account.
- Can bind managed sub-account to the trading team by typing TeamID to seek out their relevant information.
- The investor is required to provide the mutual agreement between the investor and the trading team to verify. The binding process can only be done if the verification is passed.
- The number of managed sub-accounts will be changed based on the investor's VIP tier.
- Managed sub-accounts can bind or unbind from the trading team anytime.
As a trading team, you can now enjoy the following features:
- Firstly, you need to apply to become a trading team. Please contact your Key Account Manager for the application.
- The number of managed sub-accounts that can be managed by the trading team is subjected to the key accounts' regulations and it is irrelevant to the VIP tier.
- You can create API keys for the investor on the page and trade on behalf through API.
- The trading type setting is made by the investor. Please contact your Investor if there is a need to be changed.
- During the binding period, the investor can neither trade nor view records including open positions/ pending orders and historical information with the aim of protecting the trading team's trade secrecy.
- The volume generated during the binding period will be allocated to the trading team's parent account and the account tier will be upgraded in accordance with the transaction volume. Meanwhile, such managed sub-account can enjoy the rate of the trading team's parent account VIP tier.
