Gate.io Wraps Up Blockchain University Lecture and Meetup with Mete Ali Başkaya in Ankara, Turkey

Exciting things are happening on our Turkey Crypto & Blockchain Tour, in which the Gate Turkey Team wrapped up their first in-person events on March 10, 2024, in Ankara, Turkey, where they hosted educational blockchain lectures for university students followed by an in-person meetup.

Joined by Mete Ali Başkaya, an experienced blockchain consultant, educator, and speaker, the Gate Turkey Team presented an informative and insightful lecture to dozens of curious students and blockchain enthusiasts at Çankaya University.

Mete presented his in-depth views and knowledge of blockchain’s history in his lecture, “Historical Process of Blockchain.” This lecture gave listeners a complete understanding of blockchain’s history, from early technologies to the present. Mete’s presentation was followed by “The Future of Blockchain,” a lecture delivered by the Gate Turkey Team, which explored the outlook and potential of blockchain technology from a market and technology standpoint.

After the insightful presentations, the audience was allowed to ask questions and discuss their opinions before being invited to an in-person meetup at the Grand Ankara Hotel. After shifting over to the meetup venue, attendees joined in networking and socializing sessions where ideas were exchanged between students, enthusiasts, and professionals.
