Leading the Way in Web3: Gate.io and Huawei Cloud Partnered for TOKEN2049 Side Event

Gate.io recently co-hosted a TOKEN2049 Dubai side event with Huawei Cloud on April 19, which undoubtedly turned into one of our most successful events to date. The 'VC & Web3 Ecosystem Party' was a resounding success, with guests ranging from builders to innovators, investors, and enthusiasts full of inspiration and ambition.Over 1000 guests converged to discuss the future of blockchain, the digital asset market, and the broader Web3 space. From the outset, the event quickly became a petri dish of guests connecting and absorbing ideas from diverse speakers. The high-quality turnout and insightful discussions positioned it as the premier side event for thought leadership at TOKEN2049 Dubai.

During his keynote speech, Dr. Lin Han, founder and CEO of Gate.io, highlighted the significance of Web3 community support and the pivotal role of Web3 infrastructure in driving the future development of the entire industry. Additionally, he introduced how the company addresses the evolving needs of investors in a maturing and mainstream digital asset market.

Next up, Cui Lei, Web3 General Manager of Huawei Cloud, explored infrastructure solutions for Web3. The event also featured two panel discussions with representatives from Huawei Cloud, Cypher Capital, Waterdrip Capital, M55 Capital, LKI Consulting, Sinohope, Safeheron, and ContinuumDAO. The first explored how prevailing and historical patterns influence the future trajectory of the digital asset market, questioning whether it will diverge from its traditional cycle. Meanwhile, the second panel discussed potential market developments and advancements expected to shape the digital asset space post-halving.

Between the panels, D3, a Web3 identity innovator, offered an in-depth look into its solutions for interoperable and universal digital identities that transcend Web2-Web3 barriers.
