Gate.io will Remove USDG and Swap USDG for USDT
Gate.io is going to remove USDG and swap USDG for USDT at the ratio of 1:1.
Gate.io has now suspended USDG/USDT trading market and deposits and withdrawals in preparation for the USDG for USDT swap.
Before May 3, Gate.io will swap USDG balances at Gate.io accounts (including spot account, and finance account) for USDT for users at the ratio of 1:1 .
After the swap, Gate.io users can use USDT anywhere USDG works, including redeeming their previous USDG loan.
Starting May 4, 2024, when we have completed USDG swap for balances at Gate.io, we will open the USDG deposits again and allow for USDG for USDT swap for circulating USDG in the long term.
