Announcement of KuCoin API Upgrade (2026-08-20)
To further enhance the performance of KuCoin UTA-API, KuCoin will conduct non-disruptive upgrades at 6:00 (UTC) on August 20, 2026, upgrade is expected to last 120 minutes.
During the upgrade periods, the UTA WebSocket may experience temporary disconnections, data loss, or delays.
If any of the above issues occur, users may reconnect to the WebSocket to restore the connection.
After the upgrade, the following updates will be introduced:
- [Modify] UTA REST Get Trade History When
fillTypeisADL/LIQUID/SETTLEMENT,sizemust be returned as positive values.
- [Modify] UTA Websocket Execution When
fillType/fTisADL/LIQUID/SETTLEMENT,q(quantity) must be returned as positive values.
- [Add] Classic REST Exchange Broker Set Markup Fee
- [Add] Classic REST Exchange Broker Get Markup Fee
