KuCoin Futures VIP and Market Maker Fee Adjustment Notice
To further optimize the futures liquidity structure, enhance market depth quality, and improve overall trading experience, KuCoin will implement adjustments to certain Futures fee policies.
Under this update, the existing Maker fee rebate mechanism for VIP users will be removed, and Maker fees for VIP9–VIP12 tiers will be standardized to 0%. Meanwhile, Maker rebate incentives will be consolidated within the Market Maker program, where eligible participants will continue to receive corresponding liquidity incentives.
I. Effective Time
- 18:00 on March 23, 2026 (UTC 8)
All orders executed after this time will follow the updated fee structure.
II. Fee Adjustment Details
1. VIP9-VIP12 Futures Fee Adjustment
Following this update:
- Maker fees for VIP9–VIP12 will be adjusted to 0%
- Taker fees will remain unchanged according to the current tier structure

2. Futures Market Maker Fee Adjustment
KuCoin will also optimize the Futures Market Maker fee structure by refining tiered levels, ensuring that fee incentives are more closely aligned with actual liquidity contribution.

III. Scope of Application
- Market: KuCoin Futures Trading
- Users: VIP9–VIP12 users and Market Makers
- Trading Pairs: All Futures trading pairs
IV. Impact of the Adjustment
- VIP9–VIP12 Maker fees will be standardized to 0%, and Maker orders will no longer receive rebates. Taker fees remain unchanged.
- Futures fee structures for other VIP tiers will not be affected.
- This VIP fee adjustment applies only to VIP users. Market Makers are not directly affected and will continue to receive liquidity incentives under the updated Market Maker program.
- This update only impacts Futures Maker fees for VIP users and does not affect VIP tier qualification criteria.
- Unfilled orders will be charged based on the fee structure at the time of execution.
- KuCoin reserves the right to further adjust the fee structure based on market conditions and retains final interpretation rights.
V. Important Notes
- This adjustment will take effect at 16:00 on March 23, 2026 (UTC 8).
- Users are advised to review the updated fee structure and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
- Final applicable fees are subject to the official KuCoin website and latest rules.
